Thales of Miletus spoke of Arjé as the first element, the birthright of the universe. Arjé are the oceans, the rivers, the living, and the dead. Water is the absolute principle of all the elements.

In Arjé, I poeticize with painting, sculpture, and words the meaning of water. Using water from the Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, I intervene on paper, rock, and other surfaces. The circle is closed with Himalayan salt extracted from the mountains that now meets the salt of the seawater itself.
