Among the sands of the shore, when the water recedes, the memory of another time appears.
Every night the ocean is left at the mercy of the moon, uncovering what was once the present and showing what is now the past.
In this set of ceramics, the tide has gone out and the memories of another time remain, as well as the materiality of the ocean. After modeling and firing the clay, I submerged each piece for 3 months in Atlantic water and salt from the dead sea. Once the water evaporated, the salt crystallized on the objects.
